Small business staffing: It could be worse
No matter how bad it gets, no matter how stressed and miserable you become, just remember that it could be worse.
Staff of small businesses don't usually have to deal with clichéd training videos, meticulous but out-dated leadership "strategies," the paranoia of a legal department, complex office politics, or half-hearted and hypocritical diversity campaigns.
Even if you're working for a big corporation, there's no way you're subjected to dehumanizing and sanctimonious stock photography and public service announcements like this:
"Just like we enjoy varieties of foods, we enjoy varieties of people."
